Digital Scrapbook Tags

Sometimes a scrapbook page just needs one little extra something. A pretty tag tucked beside a photo, layered behind a favorite element, or used as a spot for a few words can add just the right finishing touch.

This collection of free digital scrapbook tags is a little different from my scrapbook paper collections. Instead of being created as part of one coordinated set, this is where I’ll be adding individual tags and small groups of tags in all kinds of colors, themes, and styles.

You never know what might show up here!

Tags for Your Digital Projects

I’ve always loved tags because there are so many ways to use them. They can be decorative, practical, or a little of both.

You might find simple tags with plenty of open space for adding your own text, along with more decorative designs featuring florals, vintage patterns, seasonal details, pretty borders, or other little embellishments.

Because these are digital designs, you can use them in all sorts of creative projects. Add one to a digital scrapbook layout, use it as a journaling spot, place a date or name on it, or layer it with papers and other elements to create your own design.

They can also be fun additions to digital journals, memory books, greeting cards, invitations, recipe pages, photo books, and other personal creative projects and if you want they can also be printed.

Mix, Match and Layer

One of the things I enjoy most about digital scrapbooking is being able to mix pieces from different collections.

A tag doesn't necessarily have to match every paper on the page. Sometimes a contrasting color or completely different pattern is exactly what makes it stand out.

Try layering a tag over a scrapbook paper, slipping part of it behind a photo, adding a ribbon or digital embellishment, or using several smaller elements around it to create a cluster.

You can also add your own text, dates, names, quotes, or journaling depending on the design and how much open space it has.

A Growing Collection

This page will continue to grow as I create new tags.

Some may coordinate with scrapbook papers you’ll find elsewhere on Boutique Scrapbook Papers, while others may simply be designs I felt like making. There may be florals one day, vintage-inspired tags the next, and seasonal or whimsical designs somewhere along the way.

That’s part of the fun of having a separate tag collection - I don’t have to make them fit into any particular paper pack or theme.

Browse through the designs and save the ones that inspire you. You may find something that works perfectly with a scrapbook page you’re already creating, or a tag might be the little spark that gives you an idea for an entirely new project.

Download Your Favorites

The tags on this page are offered as individual digital downloads, so there’s no need to download an entire collection just to get the design you want.

Simply choose the tags you like and save them to your device for your next digital project.
